The Dirty 30. GLI is in the 30K mile club guys!

After just under 6 months of ownership (I bought he car on Aug. 16th, with 23,034 miles on it) I have passed the most important milestone of my ownership so far: The 30K marker!

this car has been nothing but great, and despite it's issues (shifter, tires, ESP...) I love it. I will keep this one for awhile, as it's worthless now :)

it's a joke, in the sense that it's a "high mileage vw" meaning electrical issues all around!

2 CEL's, the shifter bracket still needs to be replaced, will need tires by this summer, and there's a rip in the driver's seat. No major issues since month 2 of ownership though! :)

yup. I honestly don't give a fuck if anything breaks too bad. gives me the opportunity to better the car with aftermarket parts! :D

Mine just hit 25,000 the other day ! in about a year or so ! I'm planning on keeping this one forever though !

I suggest you get an APR tune for it. as fun as VW's like our are stock, they need that little extra "oomph" in my opinion.

Now that mine's tuned, it'll be interesting to see how it holds up over time!
